Breaking news: Manchester United star picks up calf injury on international duty – Likely to be unavailable

 


That was the case on Tuesday evening, 

when the South American nation faced 

Chile in a World Cup qualifying match. 

The striker was forced to leave the field

 after only 25 minutes and was plainly 

in pain as a result of the incident. 


According to Tenfield, the Manchester

 United player felt something in his right

 calf and sat down on the turf. Cavani had

 a'muscular problem in the right calf,' 

according to the same source. 


That means he'll most likely miss at least

 one Premier League match during a season

 in which he's already missed a lot of football

. This season, the 35-year-old has played 

little over 600 minutes in the league and 

less than 150 minutes in the Champions League.
