according to Fabrizio Romano. 



Cavani's season in 2021/22 was a 

disaster, with the striker missing big 

chunks of the season owing to quarantine

 troubles, bruises, tendon irritation, 

and, most recently, a groin ailment. 


Following the new concern, Manchester

 United has stated that the striker is now 

a doubt for Saturday's encounter against

 Leicester City.

Cavani scored 17 goals in all competitions

 during his debut season at Old Trafford, 

earning him a new 12-month contract. 


Unfortunately, the seasoned striker hasn't

 been able to reproduce his success this season

, and a summer departure seems a distinct

 possibility.
