 Greenwood has been released on

bond following his arrest for rape, sexual

 assault, and threats to kill.

United has replied to social media reports

by stating that they are incorrect.

According to The Sun, the club stated, "

There has been no change whatsoever

in Mason's position."

"Shortly after he was cut from the squad

in January, we removed his profile

 from the club app."

This was done to keep Mason out

of the app's interactive features,

such as team predictions and so on.

"However, his profile was never taken

off from the internet because he is

still a Manchester United player, although

one who is not actively in the squad

while the legal process is ongoing."

Greenwood was suspended by United

after his arrest in January, and he

has not played since.
