Breaking news: According to court Decision on Mason Greenwood rape charges is 'imminent'
Mason Greenwood is currently out
on bail after being arrested in January
on suspicion of rape and assault. The
Manchester United player has not yet
been officially charged and he'll find
out in the coming days if he will actually
be prosecuted.

It is believed that police will file a report
with the Crown Prosecution Service
over the next few days, having studied
the available evidence to decide
if the 20-year-old should be put on trial.
"The police will submit their file
imminently," a source close to the investigation
told The Sun.
Another source provided a little more
detail, explaining that the police are
running out of time to investigate.
"He's still on bail but things are at
an advanced stage," that source said,
also speaking to The Sun.
"The police and Crown Prosecution Service
are currently discussing if there is a case
or not to bring against him. There comes
a point where a decision has to be made
and things have reached that point."
Where is Mason Greenwood
right now?
Greenwood spent time in police custody
after his arrest on January 30.
"Greater Manchester Police was made
aware of online social media images and
videos posted by a woman reporting
incidents of physical violence," a police
statement said at the time.
"An investigation was launched and,
following enquiries, we can confirm
a man in his 20s has since been arrested
on suspicion of rape and assault.
He remains in custody for questioning.
Enquiries are ongoing."
He was then released on bail shortly
afterwards, but was suspended by
Manchester United and hasn't been involved
with the club since the arrest.
Most of his sponsors have also stopped
working with Greenwood, including Nike.
The next step for the 20-year-old is
to find out if he will be formally charged
and, if so, he'll then prepare for a trial.
