Breaking news: How Erik ten Hag could line up Manchester United with three new signings

 Manchester United is getting closer

to appointing Ajax manager Erik ten Hag

as their permanent manager.

The Manchester Evening News announced

the Dutchman, 52, as the club's

Foavoured  candidate last month, and

he is now set to succeed Ralf Rangnick in

the coming season. Ten Hag is reportedly

on the verge of taking the post at Old

Trafford, with only the signature of

his contract remaining.

If United can get it done, it will put an

end to months of conjecture that has dominated

Old Trafford since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

was fired in November. Ten Hag had been

a favorite for the job alongside Mauricio

Pochettino of Paris Saint-Germain.
