Breaking news: Manchester United board betray Ralf Ragnick by extending star player’s contract.

 Manchester United is considering whether

 or not to extend David De Gea's contract. 



The team wants to sign goalkeeper Fabrizio

 Romano to a long-term contract, according

 to Fabrizio Romano. 


De Gea, who earns £375,000 a week, 

is the club's second-highest paid player

, trailing only Cristiano Ronaldo. 


This season, the Spaniard has returned 

to his finest form, saving United on 

numerous occasions. 


His world-class saves have racked up 

a lot of points for his squad. 


A part of the crowd, though, has questioned

 his ability to play the ball. 


Some argue that United's build-up 

play is being hampered by the goalkeeper's

 inability to pass. 


According to ESPN's Rob Dawson, new 

manager Erik ten Hag is concerned about

 DeMarcus Cousins.
