Breaking news: Manchester United star midfielder,Bruno Fernandes gets new shirt number as he reveals new shirt number to fans

 Bruno Fernandes has stated that he would

 like to wear the number 8 shirt at Manchester

 United in the future, the same number 

he wore at Sporting Lisbon. 



Following the announcement of his contract

 renewal with the Red Devils, the Portuguese

 international held a Twitter Q&A. 


Since his arrival from Sporting in January

 2020, Fernandes has become a fan favorite

 at the club, signing a new contract that

 will last until June 2026. 


In that time, the 27-year-old has made 

117 appearances for United, scoring 49 

goals and assisted on 39 occasions. 


Fernandes presently wears the number 18 

shirt for the Red Devils, but he wants to switch

 to the number 8, which is currently worn by Juan Mata.
