 One of Erik ten Hag's first jobs after  being named Manchester United  manager was to appoint his backroom  staff.  Ten Hag recently added Mitchell  van der Gaag and Steve McClaren  to his backroom team to assist the  Dutchman ahead of next season.  Robin van Persie, on the other hand , turned down an invitation to join  Manchester United, and he's finally  explained why.  "Right now, my son and daughter  are very essential to me."  It's fantastic that they've both discovered  their calling.
