Breaking news:Chelsea’a Antonio Rudiger makes decision after man United talks .

 When the transfer market opens in 

June, Rudiger, 29, is one of United's defensive

 targets, as his contract at Stamford Bridge

 expires at the conclusion of the season. 



Preliminary talks between the two parties

 over a prospective Rudiger deal at Old

 Trafford are thought to have already

 taken place. 


According to the Manchester Evening

 News, Rudiger is set to reject United's 

offers because he wants to join a club 

that will almost certainly qualify for 

the Champions League next season. 


United is three points behind Tottenham 

in fourth place, despite having played the 

same number of games and having a substantially

 poorer goal difference. 


United, who are in desperate need 

of a quality central defender, will be 

devastated by the news.
