Confirmed : Man Utd could offer £29million contract – £50million bid made for signing

Manchester United are on the market

for a top-flight midfielder, and rumors claim they

have made a bid for Lazio's Sergej

Milinkovic-Savic.

The Red Devils have launched a £50 million

 approach for the Serbian international,

according to La Repubblica (via Inter Live),

although Lazio would require at least

£59 million to sell him this summer.

According to the Italian press, the Old

Trafford club could blow the budget and

agree on a lucrative salary with the player

to entice him to the club. Man United may

offer a five-year contract for £29 million,

according to reports (7 million euros per year).

Milinkovic-Savic, whose contract will

expire in two years, is currently earning

a meager 3 million dollars per year.
