 Manchester United has been looking 

for a quality defensive midfielder for some

 time, and Palhinha's name has come 

up again. 



The playmaker was extensively linked 

with a move away from Sporting CP in 

the January transfer window, with the 

Portuguese club demanding a fee of more 

than 30 million euros. Man Utd contacted

 him to hire his services, according to the Record. 


According to an exclusive report published

 by Correio da Manha yesterday, a lot of 

clubs are interested in signing the Lions 

midfielder, but Man Utd are the favorites

 to get him this summer. 


Palhinha's present contract with the Liga 

Nos winners will expire in 2026, according 

to a well-known Portuguese media site, 

and he will be permitted to leave.
