Confirmed:Incoming Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag to consider signing Juventus defender

Ten Hag agreed to a deal in principle

to become United's new manager earlier

this week, and there is already a lot of conjecture

about what signings the 52-year-old will

make once he arrives in Manchester.

Many current and former Ajax players

who worked under Ten Hag are rumoured

to be interested, with The Times reporting

that Juventus centre-back De Ligt is one

 among them.

The 22-year-old rose to popularity after

winning the league and cup double under

Ten Hag in 2019, as well as reaching the

Champions League semi-finals in the same

year, knocking out Real Madrid and Juventus

 along the way.

Before he was moved to Turin, United

had been connected with the Dutch defender.
