 United striker to score more than 20 

Premier League goals, and he was instrumental

 in the team's title triumph.



Since then, almost a decade has gone and 

no player has been able to match the 

retired Dutchman's accomplishment 

at Old Trafford. 


Even Cristiano Ronaldo, the world's most

 famous footballer, has suffered. With 

only seven games left in the season, the 

Portuguese international is unlikely to achieve

 the 20-goal milestone in the Premier League. 


Man United, as a result, are in desperate 

need of a clinical finisher to eventually replace

 the veteran, and Darwin Nunez is on their 

radar in this regard. 


The Benfica midfielder is slated to 

leave in the summer.
