 and they now face an uphill battle to qualify

 for the Champions League next season. 



In addition to their inconsistency on the

 field, United has been dogged by rumors 

of discontent within the squad, with Cristiano

 Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford being two

 famous instances of players who have 

been said to be unhappy. 


Now, however, it appears like the club 

may have some good news, as one of their 

top transfer targets has stated that he is "open

 to a move to the Premier League." 


According to Sport1, Manuel Akanji of Borussia

 Dortmund is interested in leaving the 

Bundesliga club and is open to engage 

with English clubs.
