Several organizations and businesses severed relations with the 20-year-old after his arrest. The Manchester United player's bail is slated to expire on April 30th, according to Greater Manchester Police. 


MASON GREENWOOD WAS ARRESTED

 FOR WHAT REASON? 


Mason Greenwood was detained on suspicion

 of rape in January 2022, then on Tuesday

, February 1st, he was arrested again on 

suspicion of sexual assault and making

 threats to kill, according to the BBC. 


"Greater Manchester Police was made 

aware of online social media photographs

 and videos posted by a woman describing

 episodes of physical violence," the police

 said in a statement. 


Greenwood was released on bail on February

 2nd, and he has yet to be charged with

 any crime. 


MANCHESTER UNITED HAS 

SAID WHAT? 

Greenwood's continuous association 

with Manchester United has sparked

 speculation.
