 Real Madrid reportedly chose to postpone 

their pursuit of Monaco midfielder Aurelien 

Tchouameni, giving Chelsea and Liverpool 

a boost in the hunt for the youngster. The

 Frenchman's most likely destination had 

previously been believed to be Madrid, 

but that appears to have altered. 




Tchouameni has been in fantastic form for

 Monaco in Ligue 1 this season, scoring 

three goals while playing defensive 

midfield. With both N'Golo Kante 

and Jorginho entering the final years 

of their contracts, Thomas Tuchel is looking

 to improve his midfield. 


Three of France's previous five international

 games have seen the 22-year-old start 

and play the full 90 minutes, and he 

appears to be a key player for Didier 

in the 2018 World Cup.
