Breaking news: Chelsea takeover candidate Sir Jim Ratcliffe makes Real Madrid promise to fans ,as he reveals the first player he will sign for Chelsea fans .

  




If a takeover is completed, Chelsea's

 probable new owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe,

 has promised to put the club on a par with

 Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, as 

well as make other enhancements such 

as a stadium enlargement. 


Following government fines against current

 owner Roman Abramovich, the club 

has been on the market since mid-March. 

This allowed consortiums to bid for the 

club, with Ratcliffe and Todd Boehly fighting

 for the club, and even Lewis Hamilton 

becoming involved with a rumoured £

10 million planned investment. 


However, new negotiations have taken 

place between Ratcliffe and Blues fan groups

, with the 69-year-old hoping to impress

 those closest to the club.
