. According to L'Équipe, the 24-year-

old dynamic attacker has informed Leipzig

 of his want to depart this summer, 

despite Leipzig's desire to keep him. 


According to the article, Nkunku made 

his decision because he wants to play with

on a weekly basis. The story comes after 

football.london revealed last month that 

Chelsea have been keeping an eye on 

Nkunku for the past few seasons

 and more lately. 


This season, the Frenchman has a total 

of 31 goals and 20 assists (51 direct goal 

contributions) in 48 games for Leipzig 

in all competitions. With stats like that, 

it's no surprise that he's risen to prominence

 so quickly.
