The position of Manchester United 

and England footballer Mason Greenwood

 has been updated by Manchester Police. 

After getting arrested at the end of January

, Greenwood was suspended by United. 

After his ex-girlfriend shared photographs

 and videos online, the 20-year-old 

was detained. He was also interrogated 

on accusations of making death threats. 

Since then, police have provided an 

update on his situation, stating that he would

 be held on conditional bail until June 

and that investigations are still ongoing. 

Mason Greenwood has been updated. 

"We are continuing to investigate an allegation

 received to us on Sunday, January 30th, 

of online social media photographs and videos

 posted by a woman describing incidences

 of physical abuse," they said in a statement.
