Breaking news: Erik ten Hag can fix Manchester United seven-year mistake with one summer transfer

 Manchester United have made their intentions

 clear ahead of the summer transfer window, 

with Erik ten Hag attempting to fix a long-

standing issue at Old Trafford through

 his contacts. 



The Reds have had a disastrous season, and

 Ten Hag will be entrusted with managing

 a huge rebuild when he comes in Manchester

. After identifying the midfield as a priority

, it's clear which region United will

 focus on first. 


With that in mind, Ten Hag appears to have 

found what he considers to be the ideal 

solution. United have already taken the initial

 moves in their pursuit of Frenkie de Jong

, having contacted Barcelona to inquire

 about the former Ajax star's availability. 


Of course, Ten Hag is aware of this.
