Madrid in the fight to recruit Merih 

Demiral from Serie A side Atalanta 

in the forthcoming summer transfer 

window, according to Italian outlet

 Tutto Atalanta. 



Demiral, who is currently owned 

by Juventus, joined Atalanta on loan 

in the summer of last year and has since

 flourished there. The Turkish international

 has established himself as a regular 

for Gian Piero Gasperini's side, making

 42 appearances in all competitions 

and contributing two goals and three

 assists. 


This summer, Atalanta has the option

 to make his transfer permanent, which

 they are expected to exercise soon. 

However, similar to Cristian Romero 

last summer, La Dea may be planning

 to sell Demiral for a profit as 

soon as possible.
