Erik ten Hag wants the Southampton 

midfielder to be in charge at Old Trafford

 next season, according to an exclusive

 article in The Sun. 


According to a reputable British news 

source, the Dutch manager has drawn out 

a transfer wishlist and has received backing

 from Manchester United to pursue the 

27-year-old midfielder. 


Ward-Prowse is being touted as a cheaper 

option to Declan Rice, who may fetch 

£75 million. 

The 10-cap England international has been

 in superb form for Southampton this 

season. Under Ralph Hasenhuttl, he has 

appeared in 38 games across all competitions.
