Breaking news: Todd Boehly speaks out for first time since being named as preferred Chelsea bidder ,as he reveals the number of signing he will make that will make chelsea premier league title winners .

 Todd Boehly has made his first public 

statement since being selected as Chelsea's

 preferred bidder. 



The American investor is in pole position 

to take over the Blues, with his consortium 

receiving approval to purchase the club 

from sanctioned owner Roman Abramovich

 last week. 


But it was business as usual for him this 

week, as he was one of the invited presenters

 at the Milken Institute Global Conference 

in Los Angeles. He didn't say much about 

the Chelsea offer, but he did talk about 

his experiences as a part-owner of the 

Los Angeles Dodgers, particularly how they

 have the cheapest tickets in the league. 


"There's nothing like sports to spark 

enthusiasm," Boehly added (via SB Nation).
