Confirmed: Chelsea eyeing Championship star as potential Reece James replacement,as James chooses between Madrid and man United his preferred destination.

 Djed Spence of Nottingham Forest 

is a target for Chelsea, despite Real Madrid's

 interest in Reece James. 



James has been linked with a move 

to Real Madrid, and DefensaCentral reports

 that the English right-back might consider

 a move to the Spanish capital. 


Chelsea could be interested in Nottingham 

Forest defender Spence, who is currently 

on loan from Middlesbrough, according 

to TEAMtalk. Spence has had a strong season

 in the Championship and could be 

promoted via the playoffs. 


Chelsea, though, will face heavy 

competition for the defender, with Arsenal

, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, and a slew 

of other clubs interested. 


Chelsea will be lacking a natural wing

-back even if they manage to keep hold 

of James. In this position, Cesar Azpilicueta 

or Ruben Loftus-Cheek have served.
