Confirmed : Chelsea lose yet another player to Bundesliga giants ,As he steps out of Stamford Bridge after being told he won’t feature for the club anymore .

 Borussia Dortmund have set their sights

 on Chelsea youngster Ian Maatsen, according

 to Simon Phillips, ahead of the forthcoming

 summer transfer season. 



Maatsen attended the Feyenoord, Sparta 

Rotterdam, and PSV Eindhoven academies

 in the Netherlands before joining Chelsea's

 youth program in 2018. The 20-year-

old left-back has only made one senior

 appearance for the Blues and has spent

 the last two years on loan. 


Maatsen spent the full 2020/21 season with

 Charlton Athletic, where he made more 

than 30 appearances. He left Chelsea in 

the summer for Coventry City, where 

he has been a regular, scoring three goals

 and providing an assist in 42 games.
