Confirmed : Man United hijack Chelsea's £26m Ben Chilwell backup plan for self-proclaimed 'next Beckham'

 Borna Sosa, a long-term Chelsea target,

 appears to be on his way out in the summer

 transfer window. According to Kicker,

 Erik ten Hag wants to make the Stuttgart

 defender his first Manchester United signing.

This season, the 24-year-old has made 27

appearances in the Bundesliga, assisting

on nine goals from left wing-back. His

strong performances, however, haven't been

 enough to keep Stuttgart in the Bundesliga;

 the German club is currently third from

bottom and seems poised to face a relegation

 play-off unless results go their way

on the final day.

Despite this, the Croatian international is

said to be courting Chelsea and Manchester

 United. At the end of January, Thomas

Tuchel’s squad battled Inter Milan for Sosa.
