According to Spanish outlet Nacional

, the Red Devils have made a deal

 for the Netherlands midfielder worth

 40 million euros (£33.7 million). 

Barcelona declined to accept the offer. 


The Catalan media outlet said 

yesterday that the La Liga giants

 are ready.
