Manchester United striker
Cristiano Ronaldo says everybody
at the club is excited to welcome
Erik ten Hag as our new
manager.
The Dutchman wrapped up another
Eridevize title win with Ajax in midweek
and is set to take over the reins from interim
boss Ralf Rangnick following the final
match of the Premier League season
at Crystal Palace on Sunday 22 May.
Ronaldo will be out to add to his 18 league
goals this term since his return to Old Trafford
and our leading scorer is fully aware of
the fine job Ten Hag has been doing
in the Netherlands.
The Reds' no.7 will feature in a very special
upcoming episode of TeamViewer Diaries
, which simply cannot be missed, and one
of numerous topics covered was the
subject of the next United manager.
““What I know about him is he did a fantastic
job for Ajax, that he's an experienced
coach,”” said Ronaldo in our exclusive
interview. “But we need to give him time.
”Things need to change the way he
wants.
““I hope we have success, of course,
because, if you have success, all of Manchester
is going to have success as well. I wish
him the best.”
”We are happy and excited, not only
as players, but the supporters as well.
“I wish him the best and let's believe
that, next year, we are going to
win trophies.”
Ronaldo has scored 24 goals in all competitions
at club level this term, and helped
Portugal qualify for the World Cup finals.
He picked up his second Premier
League Player-of-the-Month award of
the campaign at Carrington earlier this
week and must be a strong contender for
the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year
trophy after landing four monthly prizes
- in September, October, March and
April.
Look out for the TeamViewer Diaries
interview in full soon on our official club
