conclusion of the season, with Real Madrid

 eager to take advantage of the defender's

 contract expiring. Rudiger has been crucial

 to the Blues' success in recent months

, but he will have to be replaced in 

the summer. 


Following Chelsea's victory over 

West Ham at Stamford Bridge on April 

24, Thomas Tuchel stated that he will be 

leaving at the end of the season. It puts 

the manager in a difficult position this 

summer, as a slew of defensive reinforcements

 are now necessary to shore up the defense.
