 Erik ten Hag, the new Manchester United 

manager, an idea of the type of signings 

he wants the club to make this summer. 



The Dutchman, who took command of Ajax

 for the final time on Sunday, guiding them

 to a 2-2 tie with Vitesse Arnhem, will 

be in charge of a summer of transition at 

Old Trafford. The squad desperately needs 

to be overhauled, with players needing to 

be released and new blood needed 

to be brought in. 


The Reds are likely to strengthen numerous

 areas within the squad, including central 

midfield, ahead of their Premier League season

-ending match against Crystal Palace at 

 Park on Sunday. Their problems in the middle

 have been a constant.
