Manager Erik ten Hag announced
his ambition to keep Cristiano Ronaldo
at Manchester United next season in an
exclusive interview with De Telegraaf.
The Dutchman has been named the permanent
head coach, but interim manager Ralf
Rangnick will remain in charge for the
season's final Premier League match.
Meanwhile, preparations for the summer
have already begun, and Ten Hag has
made it plain that Ronaldo will play a vital
role under him in the 2022/23 season.
Ten Hag, speaking to De Telegraaf, dismissed
any talk about Ronaldo's future, insisting
that he wants to keep the Portugal
star at United.
He went on to say that he is a 'giant'
and that he is'very essential' to the club.
