Breaking news: Agent set for meeting with Man United over big midfielder signing – Red Devils ‘in pole position’

 It was thought that he'd arrived with two 

offers from teams interested in signing

 his client, with Manchester United and Paris

 Saint-Germain each offering €65 million. 



While those initial offers weren't believed 

to be enough to persuade Lazio to sell their 

star, they were expected to start a conversation

, which would hopefully lead to an agreement

 and ultimately a move. 


A cost of at least €70 million was thought 

to be required to persuade the Serie A club

 to consider a transfer, and Corriere dello

 Sport backed this up on Tuesday. 


They say that 'by the end of May, the 

proposals' from Manchester United and 

other clubs will be presented, and that the

 agent is organizing 'appointments' 

with the Red Devils.
