 Mason Burstow, a Chelsea loanee,

 has delivered a message to Charlton

 Athletic before joining Thomas Tuchel's side

 at the end of the season. 



After a strong start to the season with Charlton

, the youngster joined Chelsea in January, 

but his form has dipped as he has been 

used frequently from the bench. 


Burstow, who came through Charlton's

 system, took to Twitter to send a farewell 

message to the club, saying he was looking 

forward to joining Chelsea. 


"We've had a lot of interest in Mason but 

we were only going to let him go if it was a 

fantastic deal for the club," Charlton owner

 Thomas Sandgaard stated of Burstow's 

leaving and signing for Chelsea in January

. Chelsea has matched our performance.
